Another unconventional project. I am part of a group of people that camps together at regional events that follow the ten principles of Burning Man. We call ourselves Wonderlounge. This project was to design and lead the build of a large circus-style tent. This tent replaced an older tent. We had some design goals that included being durable and reusable, including a way to let hot air out but still stay dry, and modularity so that the pieces wouldn't be too heavy. This also allows us to set up the tent as a single pole 35 foot diameter circle or as a 35 foot by 55 foot double pole oval.
